Clubs at Creighton and Community Service
I like to stay busy, below are some of the ways that I stay busy!
The three largest ways I spend my time outside of class are: Community Service, On-Campus Involvement, and Internships.
Here I will highlight my clubs and community service!
On Campus Involvement
On campus, the club I dedicate the most time to is Management Consulting Club. I was on the first-ever leadership team and am currently the President of the Club. Here's some of what I have accomplished in the Management Consulting Club:
Coordinated and secured an engagement with Goodwill Omaha's President. The focus of this engagement is how can Goodwill become more sustainable and reduce their waste/carbon footprint.
Worked for Conagra to research how to attract and retain top talent that is new to the workforce. Following the presentation, Conagra changed its internship program and employee rules to better reflect the present values of an employee.
During an Engagement for Mutual of Omaha (a Fortune 500 company), I developed a new way for Mutual of Omaha to sell insurance to Generation Z, after presenting to Senior Leadership, Mutual of Omaha decided to adopt my plan is currently implementing it
Proposed a new insurance product to Mutual of Omaha Senior Management
Approximate yearly revenue of $200 million
Conducted market research in Omaha community
Reviewed Physical Therapy Doctorate Students budgets for opening their own practice.
Identified inaccuracies in budgets
Found ways to save money
Discovered grants for them to apply for
Presented Findings to a group of Doctorate Students
In charge of all operations for the Management Consulting club
Four officers report directly to me
Lead weekly meetings for the Leadership team
Another cause I am extremely passionate about is helping the Special Needs Community. My mom is a former special needs teacher and is now a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), and thus from little on I have always been around the Special Needs Community.
In high school I created the first Speech and Debate team for students with Special Needs, they competed at the Varsity level in the National Speech and Debate Association.
Currently, I am involved in the Best Buddies Organization, where I get to hang out and act as a mentor to students with intellectual developmental disabilities.
Other Involvements:
